    Very interesting unit. Personally I have never used it, but the microscope technician did. He explained that this item is used with a matched phase objective to direct light so that one can see the split light as it passes through cells, so that it can show cell walls better.
    It is in excellent condition with the exception of a couple of very minor scratches in the paint.
    It measures 4" X 4". Center hole is 20 mm in diameter. One can only be interested on this item if one knows what it is for. By the way, it does not mention the brand name but it was part of the Meiji equipment we have. One thing is for sure, this is a high quality item. I have priced it aggressively so that price is not an issue. So, go ahead, buy with confidence. Know that it is a very good value as Meiji charges two or three times what I am asking for.
